The Debate: Superman in Dragon Ball Z
The most current East vs. West debate in comic book culture is assessing the role that Superman would play in the Dragon Ball universe. It is difficult to decide on an answer since the Dragon Ball characters increase in power so frequently and exhibit flight, super speed, strength, invulnerability, and energy projection. The argument is further complicated by the fact that there are multiple incarnations of Superman in the time since his creation. This is my assessment of how the classic versions of Superman would fit into the Dragon Ball Z storyline.
